During my time at Elon University, I embarked on a two-year mentored research project in English funded and guided by the Elon College Fellows scholarship, which is awarded to just 50 students each year. I worked to write, workshop, and revise a chapbook of confessional poetry exploring existentialism and mental health in young adulthood.
